My second time performing in the RAM Bicentenary Prize Finals, and my second appearance at Wigmore Hall!
This year I performed alongside my friend and colleague Drake Gritton, who played both oboe and cor anglais; he began with an exciting performance of The Praying Mantis by Peter Facer, following which I joined to perform Antonio Pasculli's Omaggio a Bellini, based on themes from Bellini's great operas.
We were honoured to have received Third Prize; Second Prize was achieved by James Nash (trumpet) and Leon Chen, while First Prize was awarded to pianist Aidan Mikdad.
